Gerbera L., is a genus of ornamental plants from the sunflower family (Asteraceae).
The daisy-like flower grows to 5 inches wide with layers of thin petals.
Thousands of cultivars exist and they grow in many sizes including miniature varieties; single-flowered or double-flowered; and spider varieties.
Flower colors include white, cream, yellow, gold, pink, magenta, salmon, orange, red and bi-colors.
Gerbera is very popular and widely used as a decorative garden plant or as cut flowers.
Gerbera is commercially important as it is the fifth most important cut flower in the world.
Lily of the Valley

Convallaria majalis, commonly known as the Lily of the Valley, is a flowering plant in the family Ruscaceae, the sole member of the genus Convallaria.
The flower is native throughout the cool temperate Northern Hemisphere in Asia, Europe and North America.
The Lily of the Valley has broad, spear-like foliage and fragrant little white bell-shaped flowers.
While it is a popular garden perennial, the Lily of the Valley has seen increasing popularity as a cut flower, especially in wedding bouquets.
